Knowledge Base is a module within Speedminer to enables structured documentation of knowledge to facilitate easy search as well as categorized view of the knowledge.

Multiple categories of Knowledge can be created, and for each category, multiple sub categories can be created, there is no limit on how many level of nested category can be created. At any level of category or sub category, Knowledge threads can be created and the content can be edited using the embedded HTML/Rich Text editor which support formatting and HTML. Attachment can also be added to a knowledge thread.

Knowledge Base search option allows searching for knowledge posted.

Speed Alert is the Business Activity Monitoring that monitors every transaction within the Data Warehouse. Once exception intercepted, an alert will be generated and send out via SMS or e-mail to the responsible party, or listed in the Alert Notification frame on the Dashboard.

Three different style of Alert Notification supported - General Alert, Performance Alert and Metrics Alert.

General Alert
All messages posted directly to the Notification frame. Icons can be used as the flag or indicator for the alert message

Performance Alert
Alerts can be arranged in folders and subfolders. Having read permission into the folders the prerequisite for a user to view the alert message.

Metrics Alert
Alerts that tracks the performance metrics value over a period of time. The change in value and percentage will be shown with icons indicating the upward or downward trend. User can mark on the status flag indicating the alert message has been read.
