Speed Scorecard is a tool that allows an organization to view those key metrics (KPI) and track their performance against defined goals. KPI are also known as Key Success Indicators (KSI), which help an organization define and measure progress towards organizationalgoals. KPI can be viewed numerically or in speedometers. For example, in a hospital, it can be used to measure bed occupancy rate, patient waiting time etc.

The visualizing impact of Speed Scorecard is much enhanced with the insertion of colour codes to alert conforming and nonconforming events. Value ranges are given to determine critical levels in speedometer which help to give clear visibility to important issues concerning business goals and plans.
